The OGAE Ireland Summer Eurovision Boat Cruises

If you thought the Eurovision magic ended once the glass trophy was hoisted in May, think again. For fans in Ireland, the party simply migrates from the arena to the water. The OGAE Ireland Summer Eurovision Boat Cruises have become a staple of the fan club’s social calendar, offering a high-energy, seafaring celebration of all things kitsch, camp, and catchy.

The 2026 Season: Galway Takes the Lead

  • An Pucan from 4 – 6:30: Burger and pint deal for 15 Euro

  • Proceeds go to Medecins Sans Frontiers

Followed by Cork Summer Sun Boat Party

The spotlight for the 2026 summer season is firmly on the River Lee. Following the massive success of previous voyages, the Cork Euro Party Boat is the headline event for the summer.

  • Date: Saturday, July 4th, 2026.

  • The Experience: A three-hour voyage (5:00 pm – 8:00 pm) departing from Cork City. Fans can expect to sail down the Lee while shouting the lyrics to their favourite entries at the top of their lungs.

  • Tickets: Priced at €25.00 and you can buy them here. (The tickets are notorious for selling out fast due to the boat’s limited capacity.)

  • Tickets also include free entry into Wilde’s bar from 8-11 where we have our own Eurovision DJ
  • Proceeds go to Cork Community Pride

Why You Should Go

For many, “Post-Eurovision Depression” (PED) hits hard in the summer months. These cruises serve as the ultimate cure. It’s a rare opportunity to meet fellow “Euro-nerds,” trade opinions on the latest results, and celebrate Ireland’s rich history in the contest. Plus all proceeds are going towards very worthy causes
